How does the system generate the candidate list when I click Add Candidate?

Question: For advising appointments, mock interviews, workshops and events, when I click Add Candidate I am directed to a page with a list of candidates, how does the system pull this list?

Answer: This list is based on the class year and program answers selected for the appointment, event, workshop, etc. If you cannot find a candidate in the list, then they do not fall into the selected program/ class year. You will have to adjust the class year and program filters on the add candidate page in order to locate them.

Note: You may see more than one listing for a candidate, the reason for this is that the candidate may have a profile in multiple PIDs and the system is pulling both PIDs to populate the select candidate list.

Note: The group of PIDs the system pulls from is configurable on the back end.
