Candidates resume is displayed as a blank page in a resume batch

Problem: When I go to batch print the resumes of job applicants, a particular candidates resumes is displayed as a blank page. I’ve checked the resumes on file for this candidate and I can verify that they don’t have a blank resume on file. Why is this resume appearing blank?

Likely Cause: Resumes usually appear blank when they contain an incompatible character such as the pipeline character: |

Resolution: In order to make the resume’s content visible, remove the incompatible character and re-upload the resume.

NOTE: If a resume consist of an incompatible character, it may appear blank in many different areas of the system where the resume has been used or submitted.
