First Come, First Served


First come, first serve comes (FCFS) is a setting that allows candidates to sign up for an OCR Interview slot after a candidate has been placed on the schedule. The time period for first come, first serve is between the time the scheduler is run, or candidates are placed on the schedule through pick time, and the Final Student Deadline date. Additionally, candidates will have to have the ability to take 'Open Actions' in order to participate in the FCFS period.

For example; There are 10 slots on the schedule, 7 candidates have been invited, there are 2 bid winners. Once the schedule is run, if FCFS is marked as “Yes” and no date has been entered in the visit details, candidates are now allowed to sign up for that one open slot before the Final Student Deadline. If FCFS is marked as “Yes” and a date has been entered in the visit details, candidates are allowed to sign up for that one spot AFTER the date entered for FCFS and before the Final Student Deadline. If FCFS is marked as “No”, FCFS will not appear as an option on the visit date, candidates will not be allowed to sign up for a slot after the scheduler has run.
